Quando Enterprises, Inc. intends to improve the lives of pets and their owners by providing top quality, innovative products that enhance health, safety, well-being and convenience.

About The Company
Quando Enterprises, Inc. (Quando) is a Commonwealth of Kentucky Corporation, privately held and formed November 7, 2002. Two years and thousands of person hours prior to incorporation were devoted to research and development activities and market/industry research. The company's suite of products will enhance convenience for a pet owner; promote safety and wellness for the pet; and, are cost effective.

At this point, perhaps you're wondering why we named the company "Quando." Well, we'd like to take a moment now and share the tale.

In 1992, George F. Insko, III, who is the inventor of the first Quando product and the reason we are here, was informed by a fellow Marine, that a German Shepherd puppy, named "Quando", who was purchased by a local Kentucky Police Canine Unit, had not quite made the grade as a police dog. So, he brought the dog home to the family farm, where a brother-sister team of Labs already lived. Quando grew up on that farm and several apartments, protecting the family, friends and the Labs whenever necessary. However, with Quando having been trained to be overprotective of his setting, family, and friends, he presented a safety issue. So, Mr. Insko, III, after many years of thinking about the control problem, conceived a solution to have control over a dog in any situation. He presented the concept of the product to his father, Mr. Insko, Jr., and finally persuaded him to look at a web page describing the dog segment of the pet industry. What followed was a business plan and the company became a reality. The choice of a name for the company was easy. It could only be "Quando"!

On February 14, 2006, Quando passed, and is now in dog heaven, guarding whoever needs guarding, and playing with his friends and relatives. We miss Quando, but thanks to him, there will be more happy dogs here on Earth! Our beloved Quando is succeeded by our new Mascot Suzie Q ("Q" for Quando) who is also a German Shepherd.
